Nyando Social Justice Center Participates in NEPHAK AGM at Ufungamano House, Nairobi

On October 24th, 2025, Nyando Social Justice Center proudly participated in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the National Empowerment Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS in Kenya (NEPHAK), held at Ufungamano House in Nairobi. This important forum brought together key stakeholders, advocates, and community leaders dedicated to advancing the rights, health, and well-being of people living with HIV (PLHIV) across the country.

The AGM served as a platform to review the progress made in the fight against HIV/AIDS, share experiences and best practices, and chart strategies for continued advocacy and support. Discussions emphasized leveraging lived experiences to improve health outcomes, strengthen community-based networks, and contribute toward Kenya’s achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Nyando Social Justice Center’s representation at this event underscores its ongoing commitment to championing the rights and welfare of PLHIV in Kisumu County and beyond. As part of NEPHAK, NSJC continues to collaborate with partners to ensure inclusive health services and empower affected communities with knowledge, resources, and a collective voice for justice.

The center looks forward to implementing the insights and resolutions from the AGM to enhance its community programs and deepen its impact in the months and years ahead.

Together, we continue to empower and support the journey toward a healthier, stigma-free, and equitable society.
